What Shapiens is

Shapiens builds and tracks workouts and diet from your answers: a workout plan, calorie and macro targets, logging of meals, workouts and weight, an estimate of muscle recovery and an AI assistant that logs what you tell it by text, voice or photo.

Not medical advice

Shapiens gives general training and nutrition guidance based on studies and guidelines and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or fitness professional. It does not diagnose and never changes medication.

If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or feel chest pain, dizziness or shortness of breath, see a professional before training or changing your diet. Stop exercising if something feels wrong.

Estimates such as calories burned, recovery and diet quality are approximations and may be wrong.

Your account

You need a valid email address and are responsible for what happens in your account. The app is for people aged 16 and over. People aged 16 or 17 may only use it with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and their plan has no weight-loss goal.

You can delete your account at any time in Menu > Account > Delete account. This erases your data as described in the Privacy policy.

Subscription and payment

Using the app requires a paid plan: monthly (R$ 14,90 per month) or yearly (R$ 118,80 per year, the same as R$ 9,90 per month). Current prices are always on the Pricing page.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it charges you, issues the receipt, handles taxes and answers billing and refund requests. Paddle's buyer terms also apply.

The plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance if the price changes, and a new price only applies from the next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. After cancelling you keep using the app until the end of the period already paid, and you are not charged again.

Within 14 days of purchase you may withdraw and get back the full amount paid, longer than the 7 days guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. After that period amounts for periods already paid are not refunded. Details are in the Refund policy.

Use of the AI assistant

The assistant's answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. Check the logs and plan changes; you can undo what it did from the AI history.

There is a daily usage limit for the assistant to keep the service stable.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app for illegal activities, do not try to access other people's data, do not overload or try to bypass the system or the usage limit, and do not resell the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Content and ownership

The data you log is yours. The app, brand, texts, images and code belong to the operator or its licensors. Food data comes from the TACO table and Open Food Facts (ODbL license).

Availability and liability

We work to keep the app online and working, but failures and interruptions may happen. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for training, weight or health results, which depend on many factors outside the app.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced in the app or by email before they apply.
